Introducing the Team Driving the Decarbonization and Sustainable Transformation of the Energy Industry
CJ Ejimuda, MSc
Founder
Quantize Energy's inception was greatly influenced by CJ's experiences from his time as a reservoir engineer at XoM. At XoM, in both front and middle office roles, CJ played a pivotal role in a team responsible for detailed technical and economic evaluations of energy projects, contributing to the approval of projects exceeding $100 million by the investment committee. In 2017, leveraging his extensive background in energy markets and proficiency in big data and AI, CJ developed a structured finance and engineering solution for rapid valuation of energy assets and to support the long-term financing of infrastructure and industrial projects. Recently, CJ held the position of Partner Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS) helping build customer solutions and ensuring their technical delivery quality for AWS partners globally. His career also spans a range of positions in startups, from full-stack developer (web and mobile) to data engineer, data scientist, and roboticist, in California and Colorado. CJ has authored several papers on AI and a speaker at major tech conferences focusing on big data and fintech. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Electronics Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Owerri and holds a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Southern California.
